This event will feature bioeconomy leaders from across the Amazon, including representatives from government, indigenous and traditional peoples, investors and local businesses, to launch a Panamazonian network of partners for the development of the bioeconomy in the Amazon region.

This event brings the conclusions and a call for action for the conservation and sustainable development of the Amazon approved at the Belem Panamazonia Bioeconomy Conference of June 21 and 22nd, 2023, presented to the Heads of State of the nine Amazonian countries in preparation for the Amazon Summit in August.

The recommendations generated by the 300 participants and 100 institutions were presented in the framework of the New Declaration launched at the Amazon Summit of August 8-10th.

We will hear from speakers from Conservation International, World Resources Institute, among others.
